HOW WINfinity gets to Coherence Across Interests is Unique

What we’ve learned — after 15+ years — Is that getting “from me to we” has everything to do with the SEQUENCE of how we’ve being doing things traditionally, getting re-ordered.

Basically we’ve learned:

1) That the WHAT needs to be moved further down the sequence of “Orientation / Onboarding / Onshoring” practices.

2) That how an Invitation is crafted MAKES A DIFFERENCE, and that includes giving attention to HOW someone is welcomed BEFORE he/she/they even arrives into the environment to participate.

3) And most essentially, that the Welcome INCLUDES the group collectively setting the context for interaction FIRST, BEFORE even arriving… And how doing so sets the stage for seeing the value of each person in front of you as a person FIRST, BEFORE we look at the person’s knowledge, talents, desires, intentions, contacts etc.; and even BEFORE their history or their work or projects.

We’re not saying those things aren’t important, they are - But they come LATER.

NOTE - these are people who not only did they not know each other ahead of time, they were - in most cases, from opposite ends of the world, and often different disciplines or schools of thought.

  • Developmental Evaluations were formally completed and analyzed by a 3rd party with 4 facilitated cohorts of participants. (data from Autumn 2022)

  • The heat map you see here, emerges through each participant independently answering the same questions every week (without consultation or conversation with other participants), in order to codify the shift in mind-set and being - regarding everything from decision making, to conflict resolution, to identity and purpose, to self-governance, and more…

  • Red squares are for 'Me’ answers; green for ‘We’ answers; and time moves from left to right.

In other words what you see here, is how quickly we not only get to Coherence; but also how walking the talk of WHO IS IN THE ROOM MATTERS FIRST (the person, not the work the person has done or is doing) and even more importantly, collectively coming to mutuality and agreement on the PATTERN of HOW we agreeing to interact in integrity with each other, and get clearer on the values we commonly hold BEFORE getting to task; IS the missing link that causes groups to typically “spin”, where we don’t.

WINfinity's pattern integrity is an environment amplifier. A practice for greater belonging, agency and flow.

It's a way to be together that creates a rapid shift from "me” to “we” in a way that “sticks” and creates long-term behaviour change.

WINfinity is about HOW to Be Together, as an initially Facilitated Practice that:

1) Models Cultures of Inquiry and Impermanence;

2) Matrixes for Critical Paths based on Values; and

3) Mixes across silos of Thought, Knowledge, and Wisdom

WINfinity prioritizes:

  • being in uncertainty together, and coming into a curated environment, “empty”

  • putting knowledge, ideas, agendas and egos aside

  • making the time to BE first, and counter old conditioning

  • finding common ground across the range of views

  • making group decision-making fair and values-based (instead of task or topic based)

So, participants (re)learn:

  • to simply “be” together by listening deeply and truly receiving each other

  • to hold a number of views simultaneously

  • what it takes to have groups not only gather together, but also come apart

  • to compost the learning cycles, and how to move with them into something different.

  • to allow the group dynamic to BREATHE, to be in FLOW

  • to learn something new together

And learning how to do that, how to BE with that, is everything.

A Way to Be Together
That Creates a Shift From "Me” to “We”

What does it take to stop us from assuming that just because there is a task to be done; or a training to be learned; or processes to apply; that those things are actually what create cohesion or collaboration across people or groups?

Because they don’t - at least not in any way that is thrivable, let alone sustainable, or in any way that “sticks” and creates behaviour change.

WINfinity's Inquiry Clusters are spaces of integrity, where we practice being in the unknown together, for extended lengths of time.

Where we learn how to embody what we call our “pattern integrity” a tetrahedron of intentions which raise up all of us as facets of Collective Intelligence.

Here we get to experience what it means to tap into the magic and the flow of life that sustains, and by which small groups can take values-based action in full faith of the perfect next step.

Why WINfinity Works

WINfinity works because the participants learn about prioritizing environment rather than a proprietary process, idea, or model. It’s a pattern integrity.

And when “what works” is applied and the pattern is replicated back out in “the field”, it acts as an amplifier … it enhances and magnifies the creative and innovative potential within whatever facilitative discipline or methodology is already in place.

It’s something, that once you experience it for yourself and truly see it, you can’t unsee it. The patterning initiates a re-patterning that takes everything you’ve already learned and everything you want for yourself and the world, and moves the possible to the probable.

WINfinity Encourages Experimentation

WINfinity is a placeholder. An environment in which to experience what it means for humans to return to interacting with each other AS humans. To ask questions and to remain in regenerative inquiry for as long as possible.

WINfinity is constantly listening to “the field,” to teach us what is necessary for humanity to thrive through transition, and to tackle the challenges of our time.

In addition to Inquiry Clusters, Sentiment Polling is another way we ‘listen.’

WINfinity Recognizes the Importance of Curating an Environment

WINfinity chooses not to begin the way we have been taught to do so inside organizations, corporations or large-scale initiatives, but rather gives attention to how we start BEFORE WE GATHER TOGETHER. How the convening starts BEFORE we start.

WINfinity emphasizes Values-Based Decision-Making

WINfinity avoids the excessive amount of noise, bias and conflict that typically thwarts group decisions by instead, nurturing values-based discussions, codifying values-based questions, and providing Matrixing guidance for values-based ratings that guides inclusive action. The Flint App has emerged from international engagement and from decades of practice as a tool to support this very piece.
